Its been quite some time, I am so sorry I have been away for too long. I have been watching the saga unfolding with the Governors forum elections and its nothing short of funny, 36 of them, and yet the elections they had is fraught with all sorts of irregularities. They are even heading for the courts now! just 36 of them, imagine the fate of 160 million Nigerians.
The fight for the control of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum between Rivers Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and Plateau Governor, Jonah Jang, took a different turn on Friday as pro-Ameachi governors, represented by Lagos Governor, Babatunde Fashola, went to court to stop Jang from parading himself as the chairman of the NGF.
Fashola, who filed the suit at the Federal Capital Territory High Court in his capacity as a member of the forum, asked the court to declare that Jang is not competent to be called the elected chairman of the NGF.

We have all heard the news and probably now understand why our police officers behave the way they do; they are being trained in the harshest of conditions. The unexpected visit of the president to the police college at Ikeja on his way to an ECOWAS meeting brought the story to lime light. Apparently Channels TV did a documentary highlighting the rot in that academy (and I can tell you the pictures are terrible) in his usual self the president dismissed the documentary as a smear campaign to rubbish his governments image. see; http://www.lindaikeji.blogspot.com/2013/01/photos-president-jonathan-at-police.html
